I’m an editor, translator, and writer based in New York City. I bring to my work a deep love of language and a diverse array of editing experience — including copy, line, developmental, and technical editing. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in creative writing and literary translation and have written professionally in both English and French.

The big and small pictures of editing are equally compelling to me: the deep, structural revisions and the fine-tuning of details. I am skilled at identifying how a piece of writing fits together and what it needs narratively, conceptually, and stylistically. I have often been called a perfectionist, and I think this trait serves me well when I’m engaging with the intricacies of a text, making sure every sentence shines. • Performing freelance developmental, line, and copy editing of fiction, nonfiction, poetry, memoirs, and academic papers

• Running the blog of the environmental nonprofit SubjectToClimate and using an SEO-optimized writing strategy to craft blog posts

• Serving as Poetry Coordinator for the literary journal Two Groves Review

• Volunteering French translation services for organizations that advocate for immigrants and refugees
